How to get Dandruff Free Hair in Winter….?

Dandruff is a major problem for hair during winter season. It is a condition of scalp, that causes grey or white flakes of dead skin to appear in the hair or on shoulders. They often fall on shoulders making uncomfortable to appear in public. Symptoms include mild itching and flaking, etc,. It is harmless, but need to take care especially in winter season.

Dryness is one of the major reason for dandruff. Other reasons include Stress increase, improper dietary habits. It can also be treated with many anti-dandruff shampoo’s available in the market. There are some natural home remedies to get rid of dandruff. There are many natural ways which include:

OIL —

Hot oil massage is one of the best natural home remedy. Any oil like, fresh coconut oil, Olive oil, Tea Tree oil, Almond oil, etc,. Massage with hot oil reduce stress and maintain moisture. It keeps mind and body relaxed.

The antioxidants available in green tea bring backs natural oils to hair and exfoliate scalp to get rid of dandruff. It also makes hair healthy and shiny.

In a cup of boiling water, add 2 green tea bags and let it cool. Work on scalp for 5mins and wash away.

Lemon —

Acidity in lemon helps to balance pH of scalp to get rid of dandruff.

Gently rub half lemon directly on scalp, wait for 5-10 mins and wash hair with luke warm water. Using lemon once in a week is advisable.

Curd —
Lactic acid in curd has anti-fungal properties.

Make a smooth paste of curd and apply directly to hair and scalp. For better results can add black pepper powder to curd. Massage scalp gently and leave it for 20-30 mins and wash properly.
